Joyeuse Joseph, 94, of Brockton, passed away on June 16, 2021. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Philemond Joseph and Silvie Cantave. Joyeuse was the beloved mother of Marie Victoria Adolphe and her late husband Luders Saint Fleur, Bernadette Adolphe and her husband Lucien Cesar, Thelamond Adolphe and his wife Francoise, Philogene Adolphe and his wife Jocelyn Saint Louis, all of Haiti, Marie L. Philemond and her husband Liautaud of Brockton, and the late Benice Joseph, Edige Adolphe, and Andrise Adolphe; loving grandmother of several grandchildren, including Lynn Philemond, Gina Philemond, Kevin Philemond, and Kenny Philemond; and a dear great-grandmother and great-great grandmother of many, including Jahmari Philemond, Shayann Young, and Emmanuella Elyndo. Joyeuse also leaves many additional relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed.
All are welcome to calling hours Friday, June 25th from 5-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to take place in Haiti. Live streaming of Joyeuse’s wake will be available.
