Joseph Vernet

Joseph Vernet, 74, of Brockton, passed away on September 14, 2026. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was the son of the late Thelus Vernet and Alice Pierre. He was a skilled auto mechanic by trade for many years.

Joseph leaves his wife Guilaine (Lazare) Vernet; his children Herline Vernet (Theo), Alisha Vernet, Jonathan Vernet, Joey Vernet, and Emmanuel Vernet; granddaughter Adelina Sambo; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

All are welcome to visitation on Friday, September 25th from 10-11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Reception will be held at 13 Wales Avenue, Brockton, MA 02301 directly after the burial service.
