Joseph T. Sherman III

Joseph T. Sherman III, age 72, entered into eternal life on December 6, 2018 after a long illness. Joe was a lifelong Brockton resident.  He served in the U.S. Navy stationed in Puerto Rico during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Sherman was a computer technician for many years. Joe was the beloved husband of Jeannette T.  (Mungo) (Wagner) Sherman; stepfather of Eric Wagner of Abington, Brenda Fernandes of Hanson and Jodi Reed of East Bridgewater.; brother of Sally Poirier and her husband Paul of Easton, Louise Briggs and her husband Robert of Bloomington, Indiana and Susan Covelle and her husband Robert of Palm Coast, Florida; loving  grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; also survived by several nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St Brockton, his funeral from Waitt Funeral Home, Monday December 10 at 10 a.m., funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint Edith Stein Church, Brockton and burial at Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45 p.m.
