Jose G. Gonzalez Jr.

Jose G. Gonzalez Jr., 52, of Brockton, passed away on August 5, 2023. Born in Boston, he was a 1989 graduate of Brighton High School. He was employed as a manager at Sullivan Tire in Rockland. Jose enjoyed videogaming, music, movies, wrestling, cars, and attending Red Sox and Patriots games.

Jose was the cherished son of Joanne M. (Gates) Fernandez of Brockton and the late Hector “Tito” Fernandez, and Jose G. Gonzalez Sr. of Puerto Rico; loving fiancé of Jamie Princiotta of Brockton; beloved father of Cynthia M. Gonzalez of Brockton, Stacey Grushkin (and Michael) of Brockton, Lillian Chubbuck (and Gary) of Derry, N.H., Stephanie Gonzalez of Brockton, Dominic Jose Gonzalez of Brockton, and Aiden Loring of Brockton; former husband of Susan Markelionis; brother of Juanita Collazos (and Cesar) of Brockton; grandfather of Madalyn Gately, Jackson Chubbuck, Jacob Grushkin, and Ryleigh Chubbuck; and godfather of Arianna Collazos.

All are welcome to calling hours Sun., Aug. 13th from 1-4 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, his funeral service Mon., Aug. 14th at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 920 Adams St., Dorchester.
