John Parziale, 87, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died January 30, 2021. He was the son of the late Anthony and Antonetta (Ferrara) Parziale. John served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a custodian for the Brockton School Department for many years until retirement. A professional barber, he would work with his late son at Barca’s in Hanover on Saturdays. John loved to socialize at the track, enjoying dog and horse racing. He also enjoyed trips to the casinos.
John was the husband of the late Annette (Testa) Parziale; beloved father of Richard D. Parziale and his fiancée Sheryl, and the late John A. Parziale and his surviving companion, close family friend Gail Spileos; brother of Alfred, Enrico, Pasquale, and Carmine Parziale; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews including Bobby Parziale.
All are welcome to calling hours Sat., Feb. 6th from 12-2 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. service (limited occupancy) in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to your favorite charity. Due to COVID regulations, social distancing and masks are required.
