John W. Kwankam

John W. Kwankam, 70, of Brockton, passed away May 25, 2023. He was born in Bamenda, Cameroon to the late James and Mary Kwankam. John attended Northeastern and Rutgers University, obtaining his bachelor’s degree. He retired as a project engineer from Bard in Billerica and in his spare time enjoyed auto repair as a hobby.

John was the beloved husband of Lurline E. (Chambers) Kwankam for 20 years, loving father of Maryann, James, and Meg-tina Kwankam and Peta-Gaye and Martin Muschette, grandfather of 5, brother of Yunkap Kwankam and the late Roc and Martina Kwankam, and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Wed., June 7th from 4-8 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, his funeral from Waitt funeral Home Thurs., June 8th at 9:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edith Stein Church, 71 E. Main St., Brockton, and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton. Live streaming of John's funeral will begin at 9:30 a.m.
