Jennie Rose Lankiewicz

Jennie Rose (Krukiel) Lankiewicz, 92, of Brockton, passed away on January 1, 2025. She was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Genewicz) Krukiel. A native of Rockland, she was educated there and graduated from Rockland High School where she was a cheerleader and captain of the girls basketball team.

Jennie was devoted to her family and home and worked for FootJoy and Klenowski Woodworking. She loved traveling, especially trips to Cape Cod and Humarock Beach in Scituate and was an avid skier. Jennie was a skilled writer and enjoyed sending beautifully written letters and quiet time reading.

Jennie was the wife of the late John P. Lankiewicz Jr.; beloved mother of Paul Lankiewicz and his wife Ninfa of Gloucester, Brian J. Lankiewicz of Brockton and his former wife Charlene of Holbrook, and John “Jack” Lankiewicz and his partner Deb Murphy of Onset; loving grandmother of granddaughter Lisa Mears and her husband Michael, and grandson Brian Lankiewicz; great-grandmother of Declan, Zoey, and Troy; sister of John “Jack” Krukiel and his wife Carol of Rockland, Genevieve Newhall and her late husband Al of Rockland, and the late Wanda Harris and her late husband Melvin; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Respectfully, a private family burial will be held.
