Jeannette Delia born Louissaint, aged 75, of Stoughton, peacefully passed away on January 2, 2024, after bravely battling multiple health ailments. She was born in Léogâne, Haiti, the cherished daughter of the late Nelson Louissaint and Amelia Gard.
Jeannette, the loving wife of the late Jacques Delia, leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She was a beloved mother to Esau Delia and his wife Rose of Stoughton, Henock Delia and his wife Mayelle of Danvers, Esther Delia and her husband Albertini of Randolph, and Eliezer Delia of Quincy. Jeannette was a cherished grandmother to twins Leana and Laila, Zaykah, Maïka, and Jacques. She was a dear sister to Mimose Louissaint of Turk and Caicos and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the calling hours on Friday, January 19th, from 6-8 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 20th, at 9 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, followed by the interment at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton.
For those unable to attend in person, the funeral service will be available via live streaming. Jeannette's legacy of love, resilience, and kindness will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace.
