Jeanne M. (Time) Simon

Jeanne M. (Time) Simon, 94, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on September 4, 2023. Born in Cayes, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Maxcimilien St. Paul and Ema Time. She was a talented seamstress and was known for her beautiful bridal creations. Her sewing skills were so exceptional, she taught classes to those eager to learn the craft.

Jeanne was dedicated to her faith and loved to pray and sing. She was a faithful communicant of her church and could often be seen handing out sweet treats to her fellow parishioners. She enjoyed socializing and cooking delicious meals for everyone to enjoy. Most important to Jeanne was her family and she doted on her grandchildren. She was wise and never missed an opportunity to give them great advice. Jeanne will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Jeanne was the beloved wife of the late Jean Julien Simon; beloved mother of Bishop Joseph Fritz Simon and his wife Rosemarie of Providence, RI, Andre Julner Simon of Chicago, IL, Bishop Marc P. Simon and his wife Marie Rosiana of Brockton, and the late Pierre Justin Simon and his widow Flore of Haiti, and the late Mathieu Simon; loving grandmother of  Nathanael, Philippe, Deborah, Emmanuel, Juldina, Andy, Rodelin, Jeanne Mara, Jonas Billy, Michée, Judelyn, Cassandra, Paulphara, Katleen, Abygael, and Jonathan; doting great-grandmother of Emanee Kay, Emari Kingston, Emery K’Sha, Ezra Kingsley, Elizabeth Katherine, Maria, Yohann, Yong Myen Bill Joan, Darcy-Lynn Ketura and Monét; sister of Villa Astremond, Espagnet Chacha, Marc St-Paul, Milien St-Paul and the late Maurice St-Paul, Julien St-Paul, Ravil Lafleur and Rosanor; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to her funeral service on Saturday, Sept. 16th at 9:30 a.m. at Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant St., Brockton MA, with viewing in the church beginning at 8:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Central Cemetery, 327 North St., Randolph.
