Jeanne Almita (Cazeau) Prosper, 96, of Randolph, passed away at home surrounded by family on March 3, 2024. Born in Aux Cayes, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Camille Cazeau and Anosiane Constant.
Jeanne immigrated to the United States in 1987, where she settled in Massachusetts. She loved to cook and kept her home especially nice for her children. She was an active member of The First Haitian Church of Brockton “The Rock”.
Jeanne was the wife of the late Edmond Prosper; beloved mother of Marthe Prosper of Randolph, Ednord Prosper (and Nicole) of FL, and Jackson Prosper (and Marthe) of Brockton; loving grandmother of Scrith Prosper, Tayna Prosper, Issa Prosper, Eva Prosper, Melissa Sterlin, Jennifer Sterlin and Tamika Sterlin; great-grandmother of Arya Seymour and Meliya Dorisca; sister of Yves Cazeau and family and Giselle Cazeau and family, both of Brockton.
All are welcome to her viewing Saturday, March 23rd from 8-9:30 a.m., followed by her funeral service at 9:30 a.m. at The First Haitian Church of Brockton “The Rock”, 940 Main St., Brockton, MA 02301. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton. Live streaming of Jeanne’s service will be available.
