Jean Ruddy Edmond, 60, of Brockton, passed away on April 6, 2020. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was the cherished son of Jean Gerard and Anne Marie Cecile (Errier) Edmond. Jean was the beloved husband of Myrlande G. (Templier) Edmond; loving father of Medjine and Rudjerry Edmond, both of Brockton; brother of Jean Denis Garry Edmond, Andre Alix Edmond, Marie Judith Edmond-Lalanne, Nancie Edmond-Poteau, Gerard Lourdes Edmond, and Marie Cecile Edmond-Millien. Jean Ruddy also leaves many dear extended family and friends. He was a bus driver for First Student in Brockton for many years. Jean was a communicant of Christ the King Parish and loved Sunday dinners with his family. He enjoyed taking care of his home, watching tv, and spending time with his family. Happy and kind, Jean had a heart of gold and was a joy to be around. No Matter what you were going through, Jean Ruddy always told his family to “Believe”. He was always full of laughter that made everyone smile. He had a nickname for everyone. He loved everyone. Jean Ruddy will be deeply missed, but his love will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, a private family funeral will be held.
