Jean M. Capobianco, 77, of Brockton, passed away on October 20, 2023 after a 35 year battle with cancer. Born in Cambridge, Jean was a daughter of the late Eugenio and Rose (Chicariello) Capobianco. Jean lived in Brockton for over 40 years. She drove tractor-trailer cross-country, then owned and operated a FedEx Ground parcel service until 2004. Jean was a devout Roman Catholic and was an active communicant of both the Chapel of Our Savior and St. Edith Stein Parish in Brockton. She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis, a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She found strength and comfort in her religion. Jean enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and volunteering especially when she was spreading her faith.
Jean loved spending time with her family and leaves her daughter, Jennifer Turnbull and her husband Sean, her beloved grandchildren Cameron and Drew Turnbull; she also leaves several siblings and was an aunt to several nieces and nephews including Kevin Kaufman and his wife Janice.
All are welcome to her Memorial Mass on Saturday, December 2 at 12:05 p.m. at Chapel of Our Savior, 475 Westgate Drive, Brockton. Jean had a long relationship with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund at danafarber.jimmyfund.org or donations can be mailed to P.O.
