Jean Guy Raymond

Jean Guy “Gee” Raymond, 82, of Brockton, passed away on November 19, 2019. Born in Jérémie, Haiti, he was the son of the late Pascal Raymond and Amenaide Josil. As a young man, Jean Guy traveled from Haiti to England, where he lived for a couple of years before settling in the United States. He lived in Philadelphia, PA and in North Carolina before moving to Brockton 12 years ago. Jean was the father of Michaelle Raymond of Haiti, Guerline Augustin of Philadelphia, PA, Karl Raymond, Eddy Raymond, and Patricia Raymond, all of Haiti; grandfather of many; great-grandfather of 1; brother of Sainte Anese Raymond, Marie Lise Marcelin, Enette Marcelin, Jean Parcial Raymond, and the late Sevenie Thomas and Claude Raymond; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former wife Marie Therese Piquion and her 4 children. All are welcome to calling hours Friday, Nov. 29th from 6-9 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral Mass Saturday, Nov. 30th at 9 a.m. in Christ the King Parish and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
