Jean Fritzgerald Gaspard, 59, of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, passed away on December 21, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was the loving nephew of Gabrielle Chapusette, Carline Chapusette, Sonny Chapusette, Marie-Michelle Gaspard and the loving son of Jacques Gaspard, Jacqueline Chapusette. Fritzgerald traveled between the United States and Haiti for many years. He made a career as an accountant and an ingenious creative entrepreneur who enjoyed problem solving. Fritzgerald was dedicated to his family and put them above all else. In his free time, he enjoyed turning scraps into gold, creating ideas, and creating projects. At his core had a strong presence of generosity, of a fighter, of kindness, of grit, and of justice.
Fritzgerald was the beloved husband of Jean Marie Rachelle Périclès for 26 years; devoted father of Priscilla Anne-Catherine Gaspard and Luc Philippe Gaspard; brother of Gregory, Robert, Bernard Junior, Dimitri, Yasmin, and Andrew Francis;. Fredo was the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews, and a cousin and friend. His presence will be a void for many.
All are welcome to his memorial gathering on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by a 12 noon memorial service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private burial. Livestreaming of Fritzgerald's memorial will begin at 11 a.m.
