Jean F. (Tautkus) Carroll

Jean F. (Tautkus) Carroll, 79, of Abington, passed away on April 11, 2023. Born and raised in Brockton, daughter of the late Ralph J. and Ardele (Lemezis) Tautkus, she was a 1962 graduate of Brockton High School. She was an office manager and sales liaison at various local auto dealerships for many years. Jean loved entertaining at her home and traveling.

Jean was the beloved wife of the late James R. Carroll for 56 years until his passing in November 2022. She leaves a son Brian and daughter-in-law Lauri of New Hampshire; grandchildren Aidan and Megan; sister-in-law Jane McAvoy of Whitman and brother-in-law Patrick Carroll of Abington; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jean joins in eternity her son Mark, brother Richard R. Tautkus, sister-in-law Deborah Carroll and brother-in-law Dick McAvoy.

All are welcome to calling hours Monday, April 17th from 4-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral on Tuesday, April 18th at 10 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
