Jean Claude Marc, 71, of Brockton, passed away on December 4, 2023. Born in Mirebalais, Haiti, he was the son of the late Jean Baptiste Ambroise and Anna Marc. Jean worked in livery service for many years, first beginning his career as a taxicab driver, then later working for Uber.
Jean was a minimalist, preferring a quiet, simple life full of routine and organization. He was a great lover of music and acquired a vast catalogue of cassettes, CDs, and records throughout the years. Jean also enjoyed watching soccer matches and keeping up with Haitian news and current events.
Jean was the husband of the late Claudinette Job; beloved father of Sebastien Job Marc and Sidora-Anne J. Marc, both of Brockton; loving brother of Marie Andree Marc; close cousin of Sonia Borgard, Yvon Ambroise, and Sony Ambroise. Jean also leaves his late wife’s family to mourn his passing.
All are welcome to his funeral service on Friday, December 15th at 11 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton with viewing in the funeral home beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will be private. Live streaming of Jean’s service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Reception to immediately follow funeral at Hibachi Sushi Supreme Buffet, 718 Crescent St., Brockton.
