It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Jean-Baptiste Saint-Cyr On January 7, 2021 at the age of 86. He is the son of the late Clémence Salomon and Aristomène Saint-Cyr and brother of the late Mozart Salomon Franklin, Camita Salomon, Evald Saint-Cyr, and Farid J. Franklin. He was born in Port-Salut, Haiti on January 11, 1934. He joined the Haitian Army in 1952 where he served for 30 years until his retirement in 1982. He moved to Brockton, Massachusetts in 1983 where he worked tirelessly to support his family. He retired from Barbour Corporation after many years. He was a devout catholic who never missed a Sunday mass, and a dedicated father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Denise P. Saint-Cyr, his brother Farid J. Franklin and his children Adonias Saint-Cyr of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Pascale Saint-Cyr of Brockton, MA; L. Ronsard Saint-Cyr, of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Jean-Baptiste Fils Saint-Cyr of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Khallifalah Saint-Cyr of Brockton, MA; Mozart Saint-Cyr and wife Marie-Joe H Saint-Cyr of Brockton, MA; Claire L. Saint-Cyr and husband Tenzin L. Arya of Sharon, MA; Danielle Dagba and husband Alain Y. Dagba of Chino, CA; Clemence Saint-Cyr and Husband Vivens Ulysse of Stoughton, MA; and Massiano Saint-Cyr of Miami, FL, as well as twenty-one grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Burial 11:30 a.m.-12 noon, Calvary Cemetery, N. Cary St., Brockton, MA.
