Jean Aurel

Jean Aurel, 65, of Brockton, passed away on December 26, 2023. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was the son of the late Jean Champagne and Dieula Aurel. He was an educator in Haiti for many years before retiring.

Jean was the beloved brother of Milot Aurel of Haiti, Harry Jean-Baptiste and his wife Gilberte of Brockton; loving uncle to Harry Aurel Jr. Jean-Baptiste and Hillary Beth Jean-Baptiste; also family friend to Frantz Jean-Baptiste, Carol Semexant, Marie Accime, Renelien and Balan families. 

All are welcome to calling hours Fri., Jan. 12th from 9-11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton. Livestreaming of Jean’s funeral service will begin at 10:45 a.m.
