On February 12, 2026, Jane K. Chaplain, 62, of Brockton MA., passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones. She battled with complications following multiple surgeries
related to chronic respiratory issues, and her soul is now at rest. Jane was born in the city of Brockton to her loving parents; the late Donald W. Chaplain and Beverly L. (Morse), formerly of
Kingston, MA. After she married the late Richard T. Bouchard (Quincy, MA), they started a family of their own. Jane is the beloved mother of two daughters, Jennifer L. Bouchard, 42,
(Abington, MA), and Jillian L. Bouchard, 38, (Greenfield Center, NY). She leaves behind her longtime partner, Peter J. Wright (Brockton, MA), whom she adored as they shared their love
and lives together. Jane is survived by her siblings, Lynn A. Lindsay (Greenfield Center, NY), Gregory M. Chaplain (Porters Corner, NY), and Michael J. Chaplain (Kingston, MA); and her
nephews, Kevin M. Lindsay (Greenfield Center, NY) and Kory B. Lindsay (Denver, Colorado). Jane loved spending warm days at the beach, enjoyed gardening and cooking, and found joy in
the little things that made life meaningful. We are grateful for each moment and every laugh we’ve shared—for her unwavering support, her unconditional love and loyalty, and the lifelong
memories Mom has blessed us with. Unmistakably herself, Jane was the mother and friend who always answered your calls, a soul mate who turned every day into an adventure, a confidant,
and a mother whose love we will carry in our hearts forever.
A private celebration of life will be held with family in attendance, and we thank everyone for their prayers and condolences.
