Jacqueline S. (Genereux) Vacca, 80, of Brockton, passed away on April 17, 2025. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of the late Alma (Anderson) and Robert A. Genereux Sr. A graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School, Jackie worked at Angelo’s Supermarket, Garland Mills, and then Draper Brothers. She loved playing bingo, lottery, and Keno and enjoyed baking and traveling. She will be greatly missed.
Jackie was the beloved wife of Patrick Vacca for 60 years; loving mother of David Vacca and his wife Maryann, Lynn Colarusso and her husband Vinny, and the late Cindy Vacca and her surviving partner Richard Pierce of Brockton; cherished grandmother of Stephannie Pierce, Monique, Dean and Danielle Vacca, and Jacquelyn and Kaitlyn Colarusso; great-grandmother of Cameron; sister of the late Annette Ingino, Suzanne DelGuidice, and Robert Genereux Jr.; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. Jackie also leaves her treasured dog, Max.
All are welcome to calling hours Thursday, April 24th from 4-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Friday, April 25th at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Edith Stein Church, 71 E. Main St., Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery, 95 N. Cary St., Brockton. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
