Irene N. Fraser Kwapong

Irene N. Fraser Kwapong, 60, of Brockton for the past 20 years, passed away on June 7, 2019. Born in Larteh, Ghana, she was the daughter of the late William and Esther (Amoah) Fraser. A nurturer and caregiver by nature, she worked as a registered nurse. She had worked for Copley at Stoughton for 13 years. Irene was a member of Church of Pentecost of Brockton. She loved traveling, especially back home to Ghana, cooking, singing gospel music, and going to the beach. Selfless, she will be remembered for her heart of gold and limitless love. Irene was the beloved wife of Joshua Kwapong for 35 years; devoted mother of William A. Fraser-Kwapong of Brockton and Kassandra Fraser-Kwapong of Norwood; dear niece of Eric Ammatey of Ghana. Irene also leaves many loving extended family and friends. All are welcome to her funeral service on Saturday, July 13th at 9 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, with viewing beginning in the funeral home at 8 a.m. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
