Iordanis “Jordan” Palioglou, 79, of East Taunton, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 7, 2021. Native of Kavala, Greece, a son of the late Pantelis and Vasiliki (Tselepidou) Palioglou, Jordan was a carpenter by trade. He emigrated to Boston, lived in Roslindale, and worked at MassPort. His construction business Jordan Contracting was well-known in this area for his quality work. Jordan was family-oriented, enjoyed traveling to Greece and Italy, his home landscaping, the outdoors, and sports, especially soccer. He was a member of Annunciation Church and took pride in his Greek heritage. Jordan was the beloved husband of Dennise (Zarrella) Palioglou for 25 years; loving father of Christos Palioglou of Canton and Jason Forret of East Taunton; dear grandfather of Victoria and C. Janice Palioglou; dear Theios of Hunter A. Chuckran; brother of Kostas Palioglou of Greece and the late Abraham Palioglou; and he leaves nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in Greece. All are welcome to calling hours Monday, Jan. 11th from 4 to 8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, his funeral Tuesday, Jan. 12th at 10 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, his funeral service in Annunciation Church at 11 a.m. and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
