Gianfranca "Franca" (Battello) White

Gianfranca (Battello) White, 80, of Brockton, MA, formerly of Fairview, NJ, passed away June 25, 2021. Native of Vicenza, Italy, she came to the U.S. and was proud of both her countries. In Fairview, N.J. she ran a wash and fold service at the Town Washtub for many years. She was well-respected and loved by her clientele. When time allowed she played bingo and slot machines. She raised her children there and was the wife of the late Prudencio Sosa and former wife of George White. Franca was the beloved mother of George White and his wife Cindy of Washington State, Gianfranca Stephens and her husband Mark of Brockton, MA, Kim White and Thomas Mogavero of Ocala, FL, and Danielle Cruz and her husband Eric of Edgewater, NJ, second mother of Kristin Robins and her spouse of NJ; loving grandmother of Jonathan, Hayley, Cody, and Chamber; sister of Irene of Italy and the late Fidalma and Donato; and she leaves nieces and nephews. She moved to Brockton 2 years ago and enjoyed yardsaling and collecting angels with her new best friend Elaine Hayward. Following cremation, all are welcome to gather on Saturday, July 3 at 11 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton for her memorial service at 11:30 a.m. In celebration of Franca's spirit kindly wear something red, white or blue.
