Gerald M. "Jerry" Feodoroff

Gerald M. “Jerry” Feodoroff, 88, of Raynham, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, surrounded by his family. A native of Brockton, Jerry was the son of the late Jerry Feodoroff and Grace (Anderson) Feodoroff Menna and graduated from Brockton High School in 1956. He served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957 to 1959. Jerry was a Brockton firefighter for over 33 years until retiring at age 58; he also worked in real estate and construction. His last career was as a custodian at Prince of Peace Church, formerly Gethsemane Lutheran Church on North Main St. in Brockton, which was the family’s place of worship for decades.

Jerry met Ida D. Ferrara in 1959, when their love story began, and endured, with a marriage of over 63 years.  Their undeniable chemistry on the dance floor was something to behold, and admire, which created many wonderful memories with family and friends. He was always active and physically fit, enjoying skiing, hang-gliding, and flying. His love of the outdoors and everything in flight continued as he admired all species of wildlife. Always an avid reader, Jerry especially liked historical nonfiction and would share his knowledge whenever his children and grandchildren would stop by. In later years he and Ida shared a loving daily routine and cherished their family visits. Their spirit of love will continue for generations.

Jerry was the beloved husband of the late Ida D. (Ferrara) Feodoroff for over 63 years; loving father of Jeffrey Feodoroff of Raynham, Debora Feodoroff LeCrone of Hopkinton, Suzanne Feodoroff DeRienzo of Bridgewater, and Lynanne Feodoroff Myers of Plymouth; dear grandfather of Elise and Penny LeCrone, Julien and Alexandra DeRienzo, and Luke and Jackson Myers; brother of Richard Feodoroff and his wife Peg, Barry Feodoroff , Bruce Feodoroff and his wife Joyce, Marsha Dmitruk, Karen Folger, Sharon Feodoroff-Haglof, Carla Walsh and her husband Michael, and the late John Feodoroff and Janice Feodoroff, and an uncle to many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to memorial calling hours Wednesday, August 12 from 4-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. memorial service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Smile Train or your favorite charity.
