Gail Lloyd Yeskis

Gail Lloyd Yeskis, of Stoughton, formerly of Brockton, MA and Bridgewater, NH, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2022 at the age of 76.  She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony P. Yeskis and is survived by her sons Mark D. Yeskis of NH and Joseph Yeskis of VT, her sisters Karen L. Cornwell and her husband John “Wes”, Donna L. Warren and her husband Joseph, and Karla L. Sanborn and her husband William “Will”, as well as nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

She attended Brockton High School and business school, and was employed as a Data Processing Supervisor at the King Size Company in Brockton for many years.  She also played a principal role in Painting by Yeskis, the family business. 

Gail was a charming person of endless optimism and created an atmosphere of joy and kindness, always taking time to deliver a cheerful remark.  People were important to her and she treated everyone she encountered with dignity and respect.  She was loyal and caring to her many appreciative friends and a delightful companion.

Gail entertained graciously and endlessly with the same flair as her sense of fashion.  It was all about the accessories, and she enjoyed decorating and fine detail handwork.  With her stunning and perfectly coiffed white hair and erect posture, irrespective of her short stature, she was always a presence.  She loved music and was a talented pianist and organist who loved attending the South Shore Music Circus.  She was an avid reader, an articulate speaker, and very serious Scrabble player. 

Gail’s family would like to convey a special thank you to Brockton Dialysis Center, Dr. Allan Lauer and Dr. Aqeel M. Siddiqui for their empathy and professionalism, Copley at Stoughton for their exceptional and loving care, and Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital (in particular the Critical Care Unit) for providing exemplary services.
