Gail P. Norcross, 82 of Wareham, MA, (formerly of West Bridgewater), passed away on February 19, 2024 comfortably at home surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Avon High School where she met her childhood sweetheart James whom she married in 1960.
Gail and James spent most of their life in West Bridgewater raising their four children. While raising their children, Gail worked at Carvel in Brockton for several years, sharing her many talents as a Cake Decorator, always being sure to add extra icing and cookie crunch for her special customers. She was an exceptional cook, homemaker and loving mother and enjoyed her home life with her children and husband while always finding time to nurture many stray animals that needed loving care. She also enjoyed many summers at the family cottage in Wareham, spending lots of summer days on the beach with her family and friends and warm breezy nights on the front porch playing games and sharing lots of laughs and memories.
After retiring in Wareham, spending many golden years together, she lost the love of her life, Jim, 6 months short of what would have been their 60th wedding anniversary.
Gail is survived by her four children, Charlotte Danielczyk, Christine Drew (her husband Rich Drew), Douglas Norcross and Todd Norcross. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, David Dmitruk (his wife Tonia), Nicole Danielczyk, Jillian Danielczyk and Sara Norcross and nine great grandchildren, Jordan, Alexiah, Kaylee, Camryn, Ariella, Brooke, Sophia, Paisley and Brooklyn.
As a family, we are all happy to know that our beloved mother and father are now back in each other’s arms again.
