G. Lawrence Duncan Jr., 64, Brockton, passed away on February 2, 2024. Born in Quincy, son of the late Gerald L. Duncan Sr. and Marjoryann (Dempsey) Duncan, he was raised in Rockland and was a graduate of Rockland High School. Larry worked at various jobs, including Cape Cod Café, Wally’s Ristorante at Westgate Mall, Lowe’s, Brockton Multi-service Center, and George’s Café. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was a devoted Christian and avid bible reader.
Larry was the beloved husband of Rachel (Clough) Duncan for 29 years; brother of Linda K. Najarian of Rockland, Natalie E. Duncan of Brockton, Sheila M. and her husband Richard Charbonneau of Berkley, MaryEllen and her husband Agostinho Rodrigues of East Taunton and the late David T. Duncan and Julie C. Duncan; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to calling hours Sun., Feb. 11th from 1-4 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Mon., Feb. 12th at 8 a.m., funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., Rockland. Private committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to American Cancer Society.
