Frederick S. Green, 90, of Brockton, passed away on May 1, 2020. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Charles and Gladys (Harris) Green. Frederick served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Notably, he was the first African American TV repairman in the Grove Hall section of Boston. Fred was the beloved husband of Mary N. (Kiaha) Green; loving father of Jonathan F. Green of Lancaster, CA, Stacy Y. Dupont of Norton, Alfred B. Green of Maine, and Brenda Johnson of Brockton; brother of Gladys Taylor and other siblings who passed; stepfather of Valentina Kibicho, Peter Kiaha and Richard Kiaha; and a devoted grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle of many. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private. Frederick will be interred at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
