Today we celebrate the life of Frankie Lee Hollins-Slade, who departed from us on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Frankie was born July 5, 1955 in Mississippi to her late parents, mother Catherine Davis-Hollins and father Frank Will Hollins. Around that time, it was just her and her older brother Augustus Cooks. During her childhood, Frankie had many talents such as sewing, singing, and baking. She was a strong, ambitious, sociable person with a good heart. In her later years, Frankie ran a scrap metal business with her late husband Allen H. Slade Jr.
She leaves to mourn her children: Merriel Hollins, son of Arthur Burke, Terrence, Treyvon, and Frank Sampson, sons of Travis Sampson, Allen, Andrew, Raynisha, Shauna, and David Michael Slade, children of Allen Slade(spouse).
