Frank S. Erauth, 84, of Brockton, passed away on January 9, 2025. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Frank W. and Stella (Sobus) Erauth and served in the U.S. Navy. Frank traveled to Massachusetts in 1961 to visit his future wife Phyllis and made a home for himself there, eventually starting a family. He was a siding contractor for many years before opening the bar Catch 22 in Avon, which he owned and operated with his wife from 1985-1995. Frank was a generous man and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In his down time, he enjoyed working on complex jigsaw puzzles
Frank was the devoted husband of Phyllis B. (Lundin) Erauth for 62 years; beloved father of Frank J. Erauth and his late wife Geralyn A. of Brockton; loving grandfather of Frank W. Erauth; brother of Josephine Foertschbeck and her husband John H. of Pennsylvania, Phil Erauth and his late wife Beverly of Maryland, and the late Robert Erauth; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to visitation on Wednesday, January 15th from 2-3:30 p.m. followed by a 3:30 p.m. memorial service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or your favorite charity.
