Frances A. Yonitis

Frances A. Yonitis, 85, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died peacefully on January 3, 2022. Frances was a daughter of the late Frank G. and Jennie (Kaseta) Yonitis. She was a former Brockton Public Schools teacher and later retired from a career in banking. Frances volunteered at The Guardian Center and Old Colony Hospice for many years. She enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, and arts and crafts.

Frances was the sister of John B. Yonitis of Lake City, FL, and the late Frank A. Yonitis and Patricia A. Yonitis; aunt of Susan Jones of Palm Harbor, FL, and Linda Hunziker of Huntsville, AL; great-aunt of Nate Hunziker, Erin Jones, and Lauren Jones; and a cousin of many.

All are welcome to her funeral service Saturday, January 15th at 12 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, with visitation in the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Joseph Manor Health Care, 215 Thatcher St., Brockton, MA 02302.
