Fillette Pierre Nozea, 70, of Brockton, passed away on August 12, 2024. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of Elda Noel and the late Joachin Pierre. Fillette was a devoted homemaker who cared deeply for her family.
In addition to her mother, Fillette is survived by her husband Jean Nozea; son Fedly Malan; daughter-in-law Jeanne C. Malan-Ricard; grandchildren Shantinia Djannih Daniel, Miguell Tilus, Fedly-Junior Malan, and Witto-Junior Malan; sisters Marie Guerda Pierre, Mureine Pierre, Nadia Pierre, Pierrette Pierre, and Marie Florence Pierre; nephew Gregory Pierre, Vladimir Sejour, Widmy Sejour, Perry Sejour, Gabby Blanc, David Jean Jeannite, Daniel Jeannite, Joel Jeannite, and Samuel Jeannite; nieces Magdala Jeannite, Esther Jeannite, Ruth Jeannite, Nathalie Pierre, Experencia Exavier, Lordia Pierre, Marie Flore Nehemie Blanfort, Barbara Blanfort, Sutherland Blanfort, Edaelle Legagneur, and Fedora Legagneur; cousins Carle Paulemon, Ulrich Paulemon, Martha Charles, Guy Bocicaut, Louis Bocicaut, Bonita Charles, Jacques Pierre, Jean Raymond Pierre, Maggie Paulemon, Wilner Pierre, Kettly Guerin, Louisette Paulemon, Jean Claude Michel, Jean Baptist Michel, Marie Josette Vermeille, Henry Claude Pierre, Rose Pierre Desire, Patricia Coq, Rosette Joseph, Marie W. Longin, Marie G. Pierre, Marie E. She was predeceased by her daughter Martine Pierre.
All are welcome to her funeral service on Saturday, August 24th at 9 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, with visitation in the funeral home beginning at 8 a.m. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton. Live streaming of Fillette’s funeral will be available.
