Elsie (Jeannot) Volmar, 66, of Brockton, passed away on June 10, 2025. Born in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Jeannot and Mercie Vincent. Elsie was a dedicated educator for many years until retiring and was devoted to her family and home.
Elsie was the wife of the late Francois Volmar; beloved mother of Steeves Volmar and Ann-Faissa Volmar, both of Ottawa, Canada, and Mose Geraldine Volmar of Haiti; loving grandmother of Elijah Quest Kintu Magambo and Gaïa Elsie Sanyu Magambo; dear sister of Jerome Jeannot, Serges Jean-Pierre, Vernet Jeannot, Révérend Gérald Jeannot, Daniella Jeannot Cherenfant, Gabrielle Jeannot Narcisse, Délivrance Dupelord, Wilno Jeannot, and Lunes Chéri; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed.
All are welcome to her viewing on Saturday, June 28th from 8-9:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton. Live streaming of Elsie’s funeral will be available.
