Elizabeth A. (Pineau) Benoit, 82, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026. Born in Winthrop, she was the daughter of the late Leo N. Pineau and Virginia R. (Basilico) Griskiewicz. She retired as a quality control inspector from Haemonetics in Braintree after several years there. Betty enjoyed drinking Pepsi, Harley rides and poker runs, candlepin bowling and traveling.
Betty was the wife of the late Stanley T. Benoit until his passing in 2020; beloved mother of Brenda Blasetti of Abington and her late husband Joseph, William Remick and his companion Carmen of Brockton, and David Macura and his wife Sheila of Montana; sister of Maryann Bereznoski of Brockton; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth also leaves several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she was also a dedicated foster parent for many years.
A celebration of Betty’s life this summer will be announced.
