Eleanor A. "Elle" (Bisbee) Young

Eleanor A. "Elle" (Bisbee) Young, 73, of Brockton most of her life, passed away peacefully at her home in North Easton with her family by her side and under hospice care on May 18, 2025. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late William and Sarah (Blumberg) Bisbee. She and her former husband Neil L. Young raised their daughter Tracy in Brockton. 

Elle worked as a bartender at Raynham Park dog track for 18 years. She then became a paraprofessional at Brockton High School and was working until her recent illness in March. Elle enjoyed shopping, giving thoughtful gifts, spoiling her granddogs, sipping Baileys in the yard and dining on homecooked meals or last-minute takeout at Tracy's house. Elle had a sweet-tooth, enjoyed baking, the beauty of flowers, and decorating her dream apartment at Shovelworks in North Easton where she has resided for the past 3 years.  She loved her family and all the "kids" at school and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Elle was the beloved mother of Tracy L. Young (and Adam Dackers) of Brockton, loving "Ma" of her grandchildren Jared Young of South Easton and Lawrencia Young of Brockton, great-grandmother of Jared "J.J." Waters of East Providence RI, dear sister of Dana Bisbee (and Jacqueline) of Charlestown, Barbara Fortin (and Edmond) of South Easton, Suzanne Owens (and Kevin) of Plymouth, and the late Lynne Mercier, an aunt of many nieces and nephews, and former spouse of Neil L. Young of Norton. 

All are welcome to memorial calling hours Saturday May 31st from 2 to 4 p.m. with a 4 p.m. memorial service all at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Private committal. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Beacon Hospice, American Cancer Society, or your favorite charity.
