Eileen M. (Bertram) Carey

Eileen M. (Bertram) Carey, 88, of North Attleborough for about 10 years, and formerly of Brockton for many years, passed away June 27, 2024. Native of Boston, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Cora (Mellor) Bertram. She was devoted to her family and home and was a faithful communicant at St. Michael Church in Avon. Eileen was the wife of the late Paul F. Carey; beloved mother of Deborah Lingoes of Dorchester (and the late Robert), James Carey (and Catherine) of Whitman, Richard Carey (and Brigette) of Arizona, Robert Carey and Maureen Carey, both of Brockton, Marilou Pasquine (and Frank) of North Attleboro, Carolyn Carey (and Mandy Devery) of Harwich, Jennifer Carey-Martin (and Jeffrey Martin) of Berkley and the late Paul F. Carey Jr.; cherished grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 13; sister of Dorothy Brusco (and John) of Norwood and the late Rita Hall, James Bertram, John Bertram and Virginia Olsen; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Friday July 5 from 3 to 7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral Saturday July 6 at 9 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Avon and burial at Central Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital or Hasbro Children's Hospital.
