Dorothy E. (Simmers) Barone

Dorothy E. (Simmers) Barone, 90, of Brockton for over 55 years, passed away August 30, 2025. Native of Maryland, she was retired from a career in banking in Boston. She enjoyed reading and entertaining family and friends at her home. Dorothy was the beloved wife of Vincent D. Barone for 57 years until his passing in 2018, the loving mother of the late Debra Barone Siraco, and a dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. 

All are welcome to calling hours Friday September 5th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m, funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Avon and burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Avon.
