Donald C. Marvill

Donald C. Marvill, 85, of Brockton, died May 23, 2021. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lena (LaBelle) Marvill and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Donald had worked as a painter at the V.A. Hospital for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed country music, local parks, and traveling to the White Mountains.

Donald was the husband of the late Ruth F. (Glover) Marvill; loving father of David Marvill and his wife Lori of North Dighton, Ron Marvill and his wife Kelley of Bridgewater, Christine McCarthy and her husband Leroy of Rockland, and Sandra Marvill of Brockton; dear grandfather of Steven, Joshua and Justin Marvill; great-grandfather of Julia, Jake, Jonathan, Bryce, Braden, Madison, and Jackson; brother of the late Marie Anderson; and an uncle of many.

All are welcome to a calling hour Thursday, May 27th 10-11 a.m. and 11 a.m. service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Christ Congregational Church, U.C.C., 1350 Pleasant St., Brockton MA 02301.
