Dina Ruiz

Dina Ruiz, 56, of Brockton since of 2021, formerly of Chelsea, passed away on December 30, 2025 after a brief illness. Born in Apastepeque, El Salvador, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Ruiz and Hilda Umana. Dina was hardworking and dedicated to her job at UG2 in Boston. Most important to her was the love of her family as she was devoted to her home, children, and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed, but her memory will endure.

Dina, known as Mami to her immediate family, was the beloved mother of Aracely Hernandez Henriquez and her husband Alejandro Henriquez, Noe Hernandez-Ruiz, Jasmine Hernandez-Ruiz, and Cristian Hernandez-Ruiz, all of Brockton; loving grandmother of Jasely, Emily, and Daniely; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews, including Carmen Ruiz and her husband Luis Reyes of Brockton, and Antonio Ruiz and his girlfriend Abigail Perez. Dina leaves many additional family members to mourn her passing.

All are welcome to visitation on Monday, January 5th from 9:30-11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton.
