Dianne L. (Therrien) Consolo

Dianne L. (Therrien) Consolo, 68, of Brockton, passed away on September 4, 2024. Born in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Doanld R. and Natalie B. (Baker) Therrien. Dianne was a 1973 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, with a focus in commercial arts and was voted “Best all Around” during her senior year. She began her career as a bartender at the Parkway Restaurant, then at Brockton Professional School of Bartending where she taught bartending courses for 18 years. She later worked at NES Clothing Company for many years before retiring from Charles River.

Dedicated to her family, Dianne loved being a grandmother (Nona) and was always there to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Her compassion and empathy for others was endless. In her free time, Dianne enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, cooking, and baking. She leaves a legacy of kindness and love.

Dianne was the beloved wife of Pasquale “Pat” Consolo; devoted mother of Melissa D. Babey and her husband Matthew, who was like a son to her, of Dighton; proud and loving Nona of Olivia M. and Cole J. Babey; dear sister of Annie “Tiny” Quinn and her husband Michael of Florida and Nannette H. Wolcott of Mansfield; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two great schnauzers Rudie and Shelbie, whom she adored.

All are welcome to calling hours Sunday, Sept.15th from 3-6 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, her celebration of life on Monday, Sept. 16th at 11 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home.
