Dennis J. DePasqua, 79, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died February 28, 2026 after failing health. He was a son of the late Andrew and Melina (LaPierre) DePasqua and he graduated from Brockton High School and earned an associate’s degree in business management as well. Dennis served honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a greenskeeper for D.W. Golf Course in Brockton for 38 years, retiring in 2010 as head greenskeeper. Dennis was active in organized sports from Little League baseball through high school and beyond. He also played golf, loved the beach and spending time with the grandchildren. He enjoyed vacations in the Caribbean, visiting casinos, and following Boston professional sports.
Dennis was the husband of Deborah (Tammaro) DePasqua for 32 years, stepfather of Joseph Sinkiewicz of Brockton, Anthony Sinkiewicz and his wife Elizabeth of Raynham, and Maria Sinkiewicz and her fiancé Michael Keane of Quincy, loving grandfather of Sage and Colm Keane of Quincy and Adriana and Tia Sinkiewicz of Raynham, dear uncle of Donna Pineau and the late Robert, Karen Fortin and Francis, Kim DePasqua and Kathy, David DePasqua and Heidi, and James Brindley and Mary, great-uncle of many nieces and nephews, and brother of the late David DePasqua and Janet Brindley and her husband Walter.
All are welcome to calling hours Thursday March 12th from 4 to 7 p.m. and his funeral service on Friday March 13th at 10:30 a.m. all at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Tunnel2Towers or your favorite veterans’ cause.
