Dennis S. Mills

Dennis S. Mills, 53, a long-time resident of Brockton, MA, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Growing up in Brockton, Dennis graduated from Brockton High School in 1989. In his early days you would find him working hard at Dairy Queen before moving on to a career as a letter carrier for the Stoughton, then Brockton post office for over 25 years. Many will remember his great sense of humor, but most of all he will be remembered as a loyal friend, caring father, brother, and son.

Dennis was the proud father of Tyler, Brady, Kylie, Kassidy, Dennis Jr, and Benjamin. He was the loving son to Elaine (Hart) Mills of Taunton and Russell Mills and his wife Dawn of Brockton. Brother to Russell Mills and wife Jackie of East Bridgewater, Randy Mills and wife Michelle of Middleboro, and Megan Mills of New York, NY. Uncle to Nick, Justin, Ryan, and Madison.

Following cremation, all are welcome to calling hours on Sunday, June 30th from 1-4 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to benefit the future of his children.
