David L. LaCouture Jr.

David L. LaCouture Jr., 51, a lifelong resident of Brockton passed away August 29, 2025. The beloved son of Patricia "Patsy" (O'Brien) LaCouture of Brockton and the late David L. LaCouture, he graduated from Sacred Heart School and Brockton High School in 1991. 

David worked as a custodian for the City of Brockton School Department and as a manager at BJ’s in produce in Medford. He was self-taught in many of the trades. David was a talented gardener and landscaper and enjoyed renovating found objects and doing home restoration. He took immense pride in making things beautiful for family or anyone who needed it. 

David was predeceased by his paternal aunts Marie (LaCouture) Jackson and Claire (LaCouture) Silva.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his sisters Michelle LaCouture of Brockton and Patrice (LaCouture) Cochran and her husband John of Marshfield, a nephew Benjamin Cochran, uncles Francis, David, John and James O’Brien, and their families, and David and Mary Silva and family, and several wonderful friends that brought true joy to his life.

All are welcome to calling hours Tuesday Sept. 2nd from 4 to 7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, his funeral on Wed. Sept. 3 at 8:30 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater and burial at Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
