Darlene S. (Sheppard) Croteau

Darlene (Sheppard) Croteau, 70, of Brockton, passed away on November 22, 2021. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Darlene was the daughter of the late Charles Jr. and Marion (Morgan) Sheppard. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy in New Orleans and later earned a degree in psychology from San Diego State University. While in San Diego, Darlene met the love of her life Gary and they were married a short time after.

Darlene was the wife of the late Gary H. Croteau; beloved mother of Catherine “Caty” Croteau-Pinney and her husband Christopher Pinney of Brockton. All are welcome to calling hours, Wed., Dec. 1st from 4-6:30 p.m., followed by a 6:30 p.m. closing prayer in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Cremation and private committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
