Danuta "Donna" (Staniul) Walczak

Danuta “Donna” Walczak, 83, passed away peacefully November 26, 2025. Born in Kazule, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Ludwig and Amelia (Taraskiewicz) Staniul. Donna lived in Chelsea for many years until coming to Brockton about 40 years ago. She and her late husband were retired from work as assemblers at Smithcraft Lighting in Chelsea which became Keene Lighting in Wilmington. Donna enjoyed music, gardening, sewing, and watching television, especially sports and shows about dancing and dating. She was the wife of the late Joseph B. Walczak, beloved mother of Joan Walczak of Bridgewater and the late Joseph L. Walczak, grandmother of Adam Needleman of Bridgewater, sister of Tony Staniul of Reading and the late Uzef Staniul and Stanislaw Staniul. She also leaves nieces and nephews, her precious dog Lilly and her caretaker Sean (Joan's boyfriend) and she will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her as “Bubbie”.

All are welcome to her services Friday December 5th all at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, calling hour from 10 to11 a.m. and her prayer service at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater.
