Daniel S. Clague, 94, a resident of Brockton since 1971, passed away October 18, 2025. Native of East Boston, the son of the late Daniel C. and Ann (Cerullo) Clague, he graduated high school there in 1948. He served in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 8 years. Dan was employed as an electronic technician at the Instrumentation Laboratory at M.I.T. which became Draper Labs for 34 years until retirement, testing equipment that was used in the space program. In younger years he enjoyed dancing and he loved to read. Dan was a board member at the Brockton Council on Aging and Old Colony Elder Services. Dan was the beloved husband of Irene R. (Domenico) Clague for 70 years, loving father of Irene Noble and her husband Jay of Dracut and Daniel T. Clague and his wife Atty. Elizabeth (Zullas) Clague, dear grandfather of Taylor James Noble, Jillian Danielle Noble and Daniel F. Clague; brother of Anne Antonioli of Peabody, and an uncle of several nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Tuesday October 28th from 9 to 11 a.m. with his funeral service at 11 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton followed by burial at Melrose Cemetery.
