Daniel J. Conley

Daniel J. Conley, 68, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died March 18, 2023. He was a son of the late Owen and Gertrude M. (McPhillips) Conley. He retired from Xerox/Dex Imaging at Staples in Framingham after many years there. Danny was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching sports, camping, and cruising.

A hardworking family man, Danny was supportive and involved with his granddaughters. Never missing an opportunity to support them by helping purchase their Irish Dancing Dresses or show up for a Feis or Ceili. Dan was a genuine person and did good deeds sincerely without fanfare or attention. A good friend, he was helpful to everyone and cared deeply for others. He will be greatly missed.

Danny was the husband of the late Diane M. (Jillson) Conley; beloved father of Jennifer Piper (and Andrew) of Nashua, NH, and Danielle Conley (and Jeff Sutton) of Burlington, MA; devoted grandfather of Eleanor and Elizabeth Piper; brother of James Conley of Abington, Thomas Conley of Amherst, NH, Patricia Mazzoli of Brockton, and the late Dennis Conley; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, all are welcome to visitation Friday, April 14th from 10:30-11:30 a.m. with an 11:30 a.m. memorial service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to The Jimmy Fund in memory of Daniel to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (The Jimmy Fund), P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or via jimmyfund.org/gift. Respectfully, lily floral arrangements should be omitted.
