Daniel J. Ciulla, of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton, passed away on July 8th. He was born in December 1958, in Virginia to his loving mother, Mary Ciulla, and his late father, Michael Paul Ciulla, who passed away just weeks prior.
Danny was a kind and generous soul. He was a devoted son, brother, and husband who was deeply loved by all who knew him. He faced life with strength and resilience, especially following the loss of his beloved wife, Kathy, who passed in December of 2024.
Danny laughed frequently and truly enjoyed life. He found great joy in kayaking and traveling around the world, always embracing new experiences and making lasting memories. He recently moved from Brockton, where he lived on and off since 1975 to Middleboro in 2025.
He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Ciulla; his brothers, Michael, Paul, and Joseph; his sister-in-law, Pegi; his nieces, Jennifer, Catherine, and Nikole; and his nephews, Jonathan, Eric, and Andrew, along with his cousins and the rest of his family, all of whom will miss him dearly.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday July 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main Street, Brockton, where family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Danny’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts in Danny’s memory. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
