Coussoy Marc Mentor's Legacy: Tree of Love

On Friday, June 14, 2024, our beloved Coussoy Marc Mentor passed away peacefully in his home with his wife and partner of 36 years, Paulette Mentor, by his side, after he blessedly enjoyed a vibrant and fabulous life of 87 years on this earth. Marc, as commonly known, was born in Saint Marc, Haiti, in the year of 1936. He fully enjoyed life and he is eternally honored and remembered by his surviving community of family and friends. Papi Marc will be laid to rest as his deceased father, Augustin Mentor, his mother, Vesta Leger, his younger brother Yvon Mentor, his beloved sister Immacula Ducoste, and his darling daughter Marc-Danie Mentor Pierre. We reflect on their lives as well in their painful circumstance. Our hope is that we all can join hands in hands again at the glorious appearance of our Lord Jesus-Christ when He shall come back in the air with His Angels to take with Him His children from their graves at the sounds of the trumpets and take us all, the livings and the dead shall be resurrected His divine power and to be with Him forevermore. Papi Marc will forever be remembered for his wisdom, decency, kindness, affection for all, and most of all, for his straightforward, unwavering attachments to the rules of law & principles. We cherish him in our hearts and memories and we will honor his legacy, following his footsteps throughout our lives.

Family and friends are welcome to his viewing on Friday, June 28th from 9-10 a.m., followed by a funeral service from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Brockton Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 235 Court St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton. Repast following burial back at the church from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
