Concetta Mary (Arnao) Morse, 97, of Brockton, passed away on December 13, 2023. Born, raised, and educated in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Josephine (D’Amico) Arnao. After graduation, Mary worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston until the birth of her first child.
Mary moved to Brockton from Roslindale and attended St. Colman Church where she was a member of the Sodality and at one time was the Prefect of the Sodality. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains of New York and New Hampshire. In later years, Mary retired from Morse Shoe in Canton.
Mary was the wife of the late Robert E. Morse; mother of the late Robert and Mark Morse; beloved grandmother of Alicia D. George and the late Dalton J. Morse; loving great-grandmother of Alicyanah, Aryannie, Alexsander, Angielis, Alannis and Armani Viruet, and Cheyanne Fay; mother-in-law of Dawn George; best friend for over 30 years of Anete Pinheiro, whom she loved like a daughter; sister of the late Frank, Harry, Peter, and Joseph Arnao; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to calling hours Sun., Dec. 17th from 1-4 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, her funeral service Mon., Dec. 18th at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
